With a patient-centered, integrative medicine approach, Jina Bae Nocera, MD, is licensed and board-certified in internal medicine and nephrology. She proudly serves patients at CentralMed Urgent Care and Primary Care in Colonie, New York, with over 20 years of experience in her field.

Dr. Nocera graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University in New York City. She received her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. 

She continued her post-graduate training at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and finished her internship and residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Nocera then completed a fellowship in nephrology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

Over time, Dr. Nocera’s interest broadened, taking on a focused effort to help individuals with an opioid disorder. Her expertise in addiction medicine allows her to treat patients and help them regain control of their lives. She also specializes in symptom management, holding certifications in the treatment of opioid use disorder and medical cannabis.

Dr. Nocera is known for her compassion and customized care for her patients with a sincere dedication to reaching everyone in the community.
